Since beginning pastoral ministry, and especially since our church's founding in 2017, we have been part of several local efforts to serve asylum-seekers and refugees through World Relief Chicagoland. Please see and support their great work!

In March 2021, Pastor Juliet Liu, Pastor Tiana Coleman, and I gathered about 800 members and leaders from several Chicago churches to prayerfully demonstrate against anti-Asian racism, misogyny (pictured left/above on mobile). You can read more about the demonstration here.

In 2020, I joined several others to write the Statement on Anti-Asian Racism in the Time of COVID-19 and helped launch the Asian American Christian Collaborative. Since then, I have remained focused with other local leaders on church-based responses to Chicago's challenges.

I am a supporter of small churches and congregations in transition, a champion for ministry families, and a mobilizer of next generation ministry leaders. I'm also the founder of the Filipino American Ministry Summit (now FAMI at Fuller) and Blessed to Give, helping thus far to raise more than $30,000 for others in need. In recent years, I have served as a nonprofit board member and advocate for a range of communities and causes. My heart is for healthy, long-term, local partnerships that serve the common good.
